Tayman Tutoring – Bringing Learning to Life

Dennis Tayman

Dennis Tayman has been teaching homeschool History, Geology, and US Government classes for fourteen years, and has been collecting historical artifacts for over fifteen years. Dennis started Tayman Tutoring as a way to share his passion for history and learning with homeschool families of Anchorage.

Tayman Tutoring invites his students to see, hear, and interact with the past. He utilizes his private collection of historical artifacts, memorabilia, ancient fossils, and unique minerals to provide a tactile learning experience for his students. His goal is to bring learning to life.

Dennis Tayman has presented parts of his collection for various local events, including at The Workshop Community Center, Roundabout Bookstore, Grace Christian School, and Maple Springs Senior living center.

He is honored to have this opportunity to present his entire private collection for this special celebration of America’s 250’s Anniversary. God has blessed him with this collection, and he is looking forward to using it to bless Anchorage. He extends his gratitude to the many volunteers, and most especially his wife Susan Tayman, for all the countless hours put into to make this dream possible.
